Why Would I choose a Mobile Notary?
Why would I choose a mobile notary when I can go to the local postal center or bank? That is true, you could go to either of those places. However, your sensitive documents require an environment of privacy and confidentiality which will be lacking at postal centers and banks. They need to work a bit quicker because they tend to have customers waiting for other services so you may end up feeling needlessly rushed. If you happen to have additional needs such as a credible witness because you lost your ID, a service like this may not be something that they offer.
If you or your loved one is in the hospital, nursing facility or just don’t have transportation, having a commissioned notary public come to you, really solves the dilemma you may be facing.
Depending on the document you need notarized, some documents require a notary to be certified in that field. For example, Real Estate documents may need a Certified Notary Signing Agent specially trained to handle Real Estate Loan Documents and notaries in shipping centers and or banks may not be certified to handle such loan closing documents.
If you happen to need your documents notarized after the postal centers and banks have closed or it’s the weekend or a holiday, mobile notaries like myself either have extended hours of service or offer after hours appointments and will still be able to assist you.
